List Building With A Blog

List building with a blog is not as complicated as you may think. In fact, it is one of the more easy ways to build a list. The reason is because you have so many different ways you can attract subscribers within one blog. Usually if you have a squeeze or splash page, you are limited to one niche on that page. With a blog you can offer several different audiences the chance to join your subscriber lists and get useful information. For example, this blog is about blogs, so I can place several subscriber lists around the blog that will maximize subscriber results. Let’s say I am promoting a list that: receives free blog lessons; promoting a list that explains blog customization; promoting a list that explains making money with a blog; it keeps going and going. The options are endless as far as what type of subscribers you can attract on one page.
In addition to being able to promote several lists on one page, there are many ways in which to do it. You can add subscriber forms to individual posts for lists that are relevant to the content. This way you can have a blog working to promote tons of different lists at one time. Imagine twenty different posts, with twenty different lists, offering additional useful information about whatever content is in that post. If your blog is optimized right and those posts go viral, you can easily be bringing in over 100 or more subscribers a day.
You can also create the same squeeze pages and splash pages that have proven to be successful, blogs just make it a lot easier and a lot more effective. Think about it. If you create a squeeze page and drive tons of traffic to it, then great you can build your list. Now, put a squeeze page on a blog, and allow the tabs to be visible ( you can hide them as well). You will not only be promoting your squeeze page, but really everything associated with your blog. For example, on this blog, we intentionally made the squeeze page the home page of the blog in order to let people see the affiliate program tab at the top for Max Blog Money 2010 Pro Blog Edition. We have gotten numerous sign-ups for the affiliate program and we haven’t even promoted it! It’s killing two birds with one stone. We have figured out how to build a list while we promote our business at the same time…
